Volunteers | Hospice House

Hospice House offers an alternative to home-based hospice care when patients require a higher level of care.  Hospice House offers private, one bedroom living space with 24-hour care.

 

Hospice House volunteers have an array of options to help improve the resident’s quality of life. There are many options to help from basic house cleaning to patient and family companionship. 

Volunteers at Hospice House are not required to participate in full hospice care training; Volunteers are required to attend the orientation session of the training.

Hospice House Volunteers receive orientation from the Volunteer Coordinator and during the initial phase of volunteering an experienced volunteer will be assigned for further orientation to the house.
